Every dancer remembers their first performing trip, and this group just experienced theirs!
We spent a week in Alberta packed with dancing and exploring. From performing at Vegreville’s Pysanka Festival to watching incredible grandstand performances, polkaing the night away at the zabavas, and learning from Ukrainian Shumka Dancers, there was no shortage of memorable moments.
The dancers grew a lot over the course of the week! They became more confident, more independent, and a lot closer to one another. You could see how inspired they were by new experiences and how excited they were to be part of it all.
