IT'S PARTY TIME! Join us for a night of live music, a delicious hot lunch, and a special performance by our dancers on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at our zabava! Doors open at 7:30 PM at Anola Community Club.

Join us as we finish our 36th year with our "Standing Strong" show. As russia's war against Ukraine is ongoing, we are honoured to be doing a small part in preserving, sharing, and celebrating Ukrainian culture with our community. Join us on Sunday, May 29, for our year-end show at MBCI’s Jubilee Place (173 Talbot Ave). Doors open at 4 p.m., and the show starts at 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 with reserved seating. Slava Ukraini! Due to the recent devastation unfolding in Ukraine, performing groups in Manitoba have come together in support of humanitarian aid, including Selo. On Sunday, April 3 join us for a live benefit concert at the Seven Oaks Performing Arts Centre. All net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, launched by the Canada Ukraine Foundation and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress. Why not show a little Ukrainian pride as we all continue to mask up?! We have masks to keep you safe... and you're supporting a great cause! All of the proceeds from these masks go directly to the Selo Ukrainian Dancers. Children and adult sizes are available in a variety of patterns for $10 each. Ring in the New Year – Ukrainian Style! The Selo Ukrainian Dancers were honoured to be invited to perform at the 2020 Plast Malanka on Saturday, January 25. The Plast Malanka was held in the very elegant Grand Ballroom at the Hotel Fort Garry and is Winnipeg’s largest Ukrainian New Year’s celebration.  The dancers debuted a dance entitled Зимові Святкування - Winter Celebrations … new choreography, new music and new costumes! Symbolic of carollers bringing Christmas greetings and New Year’s wishes, the Selo Ukrainian Dancers dancers genuinely bid each of the guests at the Malanka good health and much prosperity [...]

The Selo Ukrainian Dancers will perform at the University of Winnipeg's 'Ukrainian Night' on Friday, November 22. Come and enjoy some great university volleyball action with the Winnipeg Wesmen taking on their cross-town rivals the Manitoba Bisons. Womens' match at 6:00PM. Mens' match at 7:45PM. Following the volleyball matches Selo will perform Hopak!

On Sunday, December 1 at 5:00PM the Selo Ukrainian Dancers will be hosting their annual Ukrainian Dinner Theatre Fundraiser. Held at the Anola Community Centre, it will be an entertaining evening of delicious Ukrainian cuisine, spectacular Ukrainian dancing, and fabulous prizes. Dance season begins Tuesday, September 17! The new dance season for Selo Ukrainian Dancers was scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 10 at Anola Community Club.  There is a polling station for the provincial election that will be at ACC on that evening.  We kindly requested Premier Pallister change the date of the election, regrettably he denied our request?! 🙁  Therefore … there will be no dance rehearsal on Tuesday, September 10.  The first rehearsal will take place on Tuesday, September 17 at Anola Community Club.
